Etsy Shopping

Finally gotten around to adding some of my work to my etsy shop. Hurrah!

Only a few pieces but have got some other work on the go, after a bit of a break from crochet (which turned out to be quite a long holiday). Here’s a link to Naturally Looped

Haven’t had much free time recently, the gardening work is filling up most of my time, a good thing, obviously! Gotta pay that mortgage! We have got ourselves a new name and just had some business cards printed (designed the hilly Dartmoor pic myself). Pleased with the result….

It’s Not all About Crochet…

Ok, so it is mainly about hooking yarn but there are other things going on here in our home right in the middle of Devon.

Today we shall be mostly in the garden. (I say we, I mean husband). After a very long wait there will be a lovely green, lawn by lunchtime, followed by some afternoon planting and I can hardly wait! As professional gardeners, our patch of ground has been an embarrassment for a long time. Too busy working on everybody else’s! Husband has a free day and it’s not raining so no excuses. I also have a large delivery of plants arriving tomorrow, including some for me, so the ornamental garden will be looking great very soon, hurray! Then it will be time to tackle the veg and wildflower areas. No, the garden is not large, I just want to cram in as much as poss! Will show you when it’s done.

Going back to the crochet,  I have just booked a table with my friend Liz of Sew Vintage at a garden fete at Culverhayes (between North Tawton and Sampford Courtney) in June. Will let you know date nearer time. I have also applied for a big fair in Tavistock in August, will have to wait and see if successful. Got to give these large shows a go. The Belstone Bazaar is too small for me now, tend to get the same customers and I think anyone who wants crochet has already bought it, time to move on.

Talking of moving, Sew Vintage will be a few doors down from its existing location as of May, right opposite the clocktower  (that’s not as grand as it sounds!). Let’s hope it goes smoothly.

The garden is calling me so best get out into that lovely sunshine. Have a great day 🙂
